Gas Leak Closes Toms River Streets: Ocean County Sheriff

The Ocean County Sheriff's Office said NJNG crews are working on the leak near Union Street and Dover Street.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Drivers are cautioned to avoid the area of Union Street and Dover Street in Toms River on Friday because of a gas leak.

The Ocean County Sheriff's Office sent an alert shortly before 11 a.m.

The sheriff's office said New Jersey Natural Gas is "on scene working on the leak."
