Get It Fresh: Seaside Park Farmers Market Opens
The market, a fixture on the Marina Lawn, is open and offering fresh items as well as nuts.
If you’ve been waiting -- patiently or impatiently -- for fresh vegetables and fruits to be near at hand, your wait is over: the Seaside Park Farmers Market is now open.
The market opened Monday, but its Mondays and Fridays schedule provides plenty of opportunities to partake of the fresh goods.
The market, which runs now through Sept. 4 on the Monday and Friday schedule, is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On Sept. 6, the market will switch to Sundays only, with hours of 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Nov. 20.
