Got Cookies? Jersey Shore Girl Scouts Are Taking Orders Now
There's a new cookie this year, and multiple ways to get your favorites from Jersey Shore Girl Scouts. (Just don't hoard the Thin Mints!)

JERSEY SHORE, NJ — It's cookie season, and the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore are ready to take your orders.
The Jersey Shore council announced that cookie season is underway, and there are multiple ways to get your favorite cookies. In addition, there's a new variety this year, called Adventurefuls.
Adventurefuls are a brownie-inspired cookie with caramel-flavored creme and sea salt, the council said.

Perennial favorite Thin Mints will be available, along with Samoas and other national favorites.
For the last two years, Girl Scouts hosted virtual cookie booths and drive-thru contactless cookie stands, and learned about the distribution process behind food delivery services, the Jersey Shore council said.

"In real-time with the entrepreneurial community across the country, Girl Scouts practiced adaptability and resilience to innovate solutions to unprecedented challenges," the cookie sale announcement said. Through the cookie program, girls earn badges, get a taste of being entrepreneurs, and learn important online and offline business skills.
"Every Girl Scout Cookie purchase supports the next generation of female entrepreneurs acquire hands-on experience in what it takes to be successful," said Heather Coburn, interim CEO of the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore.
All proceeds from the 2022 Girl Scout Cookie Program support programs and leadership experiences for local girls.
"You may see cookies, but we see leadership and adventure in each box," Coburn said.
Girl Scout Cookie season is recognized nationally from January through April. You can buy cookies a few ways:
- If you know a registered Girl Scout, reach out to her to find out how she’s selling cookies in ways that meet local and state safety protocols.

- Beginning Feb. 18, enter your zip code into the Girl Scout Cookie Finder at www.girlscoutcookies.org to find a booth near you, to purchase cookies from a local Girl Scout troop for delivery, or to donate cookies to first responders and local causes.
