Have Your Animals Blessed At Toms River Church's Service

East Dover Baptist Church is inviting all pet lovers to bring their furry and feathered companions to a Blessing of the Animals service this coming Saturday, Oct. 10.

All kinds of pets and their owners are welcome at the ceremony, organizers said.

“Please make sure all pets are up today on necessary shots and are either leashed or in a proper cage,” the organizers said.

The blessing service begins at 11 a.m. The church is located at 974 Bay Ave., Toms River, 08753.

There will be animals available for adoption from Volunteer Auxiliary for Animal Shelters Inc. as well.
