Help Madama Jiu-Jitsu Academy Kick Childhood Cancer At Fundraising Workshop, June 27

On Saturday, June 27, Madama Jiu-Jitsu Academy will offer an introduction into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing at their first community fundraising workshop benefiting Ocean of Love, a non-profit dedicated to helping local children with cancer and their families for over 25 years.

The workshop begins at 3 p.m. at the Academy located at 953 Fischer Blvd. in Toms River and all proceeds collected from the $20 registration fee will be donated to Ocean of Love.

Participants will have the chance to meet with world-class instructors from the mixed martial arts academy, learn how effective Kickboxing and Jiu Jitsu can be in real life self-defense situations, and watch a demonstration conducted by owner and Matt Serra Black Belt, Josh Madama. Food and refreshments donated by Phil and Benny D’Aloisio of Lenny’s Pizza will be served afterwards.

Madama Jiu Jitsu would like to thank everyone in advance for their efforts in helping bring the community together for such a great cause.
