Hooper Avenue Closures In Toms River For Water Line Installation

There will be detours and lane closures in place while Suez connects a service line to the Ocean County Social Services building.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Hooper Avenue will be closed for three nights this week while water lines are connected for the Ocean County Board of Social Services building, authorities announced.

The work, installing a 12-inch service main crossing Hooper Avenue, is at the building at 1027 Hooper Ave. and the road is expected to be closed in the area Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights, officials said.

The work is not expected to disrupt water service to any homes or businesses in the area, they said.
