Hooper Avenue Detour In Place Wednesday, Thursday Nights: Police

TOMS RIVER, NJ — If you have to be out and about Wednesday night or Thursday night, here's a reminder: avoid Hooper Avenue on the Toms River-Brick border.

Toms River police said there will be detours in place from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. both Wednesday, Dec. 12, and Thursday, Dec. 13, due to construction on Hooper Avenue just south of Yorktown Boulevard.

If you are traveling south on Hooper Avenue between these hours, you will be detoured onto Yorktown Boulevard, through Holiday City, to Church Road.
