Icy Morning Leads To Crash On Route 37 Bridge
The crash led to a brief closure of the Tunney Bridge, authorities said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Chilly temperatures led to icy conditions and a crash on the J. Stanley Tunney Bridge between Seaside Heights and Toms River on Thursday morning, authorities said.
The Toms River Office of Emergency Management was warning drivers to use caution on both the Tunney Bridge, the westbound span of the Route 37 bridges between Seaside Heights and Toms River, and on the Thomas A. Mathis Bridge, the eastbound span, because morning temperatures below freezing had made both slippery.
There were no details immediately available on the crash.
