ID Sought Lavallette Gas Station Armed Robbery: Police
Police say the man was dressed in a red hoodie and ran from the scene on foot.

LAVALLETTE, NJ — Police in Lavallette are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who they say robbed a gas station in the borough earlier this week.
The attendant at Kelly's Sea Bay Sunoco station on Grand Central Avenue was robbed about 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, Lavallette police said in a post on the department's PBA Facebook page.
The department also posted an artist's sketch of the suspect, described as a white male, about 20 to 25 years old, 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall with a thin build of about 160 to 180 pounds. He was dressed in a red hooded sweatshirt with a black beanie underneath.

According to a report by Jersey Shore Hurricane News, the robber had a gun and ran from the scene toward Jersey City Avenue.
Anyone who can identify the man is asked to call Lavallette police at 732-793-4800.
