It's Small Business Saturday; Downtown Toms River Has Deals For You

It’s Small Business Saturday, and Downtown Toms River -- the Toms River Business Improvement District initiative -- wants you to come and check it out. There is a breakfast from now until noon at The Downtown Shops @ 53 Main.

The downtown area is decked out for the holidays, too, all in preparation for the arrival of Santa on Friday, Dec. 4 and the town’s Christmas tree lighting ceremony in the courtyard at Town Hall.

Small Business Saturday highlights the impact of spending in small businesses in your town. For each $100 spent in a small business, $68 returns to the community, according to American Express.
