Ex-Boyfriend Of Jersey Shore's JWoww Charged With Extortion
Thomas Lippolis of Hazlet allegedly threatened to spill secrets about Jenni Farley to the media unless he was paid $25,000, police said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — An ex-boyfriend of "Jersey Shore" star Jenni Farley has been charged with extortion after he threatened to tell secrets about her to the media unless she paid him $25,000, police said Wednesday.
Thomas Lippolis, 32, of Hazlet, has been charged with third-degree extortion, said Jillian Messina of the Toms River Police Department.
Farley contacted police on Monday, reporting that her publicist had received a phone call from Lippolis demanding the money. Farley and Lippolis had dated for about a year approximately 10 years ago.

Toms River Detectives Thomas Grosse and Jon Turner investigated the allegations and arrested Lippolis on Wednesday.
Lippolis and Farley had a stormy relationship. In a 2011 episode of Jersey Shore After Hours, Farley accused him of physical and emotional abuse, saying he was very controlling, threw her belongings down the stairs and more, Life and Style magazine reported in a May 2018 article.

Lippolis also sued Farley at one point, saying she owed him for $700,000 of work he did as her manager. He also threatened to release nude photos of her, a move that was stopped by a court injunction, Life and Style reported.
Lippolis's arrest comes on the heels of Toms River police being called to Farley's home last week amid a fight between her and her estranged husband, Roger Mathews. No charges were filed in the incident but there was a temporary restraining order issued for Mathews. (READ MORE: Cops Come To Toms River Home Of JWoww Of The 'Jersey Shore')
