Kidney Dialysis Center Holding Open House

TOMS RIVER, NJ — According to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 million adults in the United States have chronic kidney disease, where the kidneys are failing to do an adequate job of filtering wastes from the blood stream.

Left untreated, it can lead to kidney failure, the foundation says, and a need for services like kidney dialysis.

DaVita Kidney Care, which offers dialysis services, it holding an open house Tuesday, Oct. 24 at its newest facility at 635 Bay Ave., in the AMC Loews Seacourt Plaza in Toms River.

The event, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., will include information on kidney disease and prevention, opportunities to talk with dialysis specialists and tours of the facility.
