LA Fitness Opens At Ocean County Mall

TOMS RIVER, NJ — If you're looking to start fighting the holiday bulge now, you're in luck: LA Fitness has opened at the Ocean County Mall.

The fitness company opened its 34,00o-square-foot facility at the Ocean County Mall on Wednesday. The fitness center features cardio areas, group fitness classes, free weights, a swimming pool and personal training.

"We’re excited to have LA Fitness opened as part of the redevelopment and excited for the future of Ocean County Mall," said Tara Melodick, mall manager. "We are working full steam ahead to have the redevelopment completed by summer 2020."

The redevelopment of the mall includes a redesign and makeover to create a new entrance at the north end of the mall, where Sears once stood. LA Fitness is one of several new stores going in at that end of the mall.
