Looking For Fireworks Displays Near Toms River? Look No Further

With the Fourth of July right around the corner, we have rounded up a list of a few places near Toms River where you can catch the fireworks this year.

For starters, there’s the ever-popular Fireworks on the Toms River, sponsored by the Beachwood Fire Company. The annual display begins at dusk on Saturday, July 4 and is visible from several sites along the Toms River, including Huddy Park and Mathis Veterans Memorial Park (formerly Mathis Plaza), both accessible from Route 166 in Toms River and South Toms River; Island Heights, Pine Beach and Ocean Gate beaches. Be sure to tune into WOBM FM, 92.7, to listen to music set to accompany the fireworks.

In addition, there’s the Seaside Heights Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza, which is set for 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, on the beach in Seaside Heights.

Or, you could take in a day at the ballpark and catch the fireworks after the game, right from the comfort of the stadium: the Lakewood BlueClaws are hosting the Hagertown Suns both Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5, with gametimes of 7:05 p.m. There will be fireworks displays both nights after the game, with Saturday’s spectacular titled, ”Red, White and BlueClaws.” Tickets are available for both games, as of Monday, June 29.

On Sunday, July 5, Lavallette has its annual concert and fireworks at the Centennial Gazebo and Gardens at Philadelphia Avenue on the bayfront. The concert starts at 8 p.m. and the fireworks go off at dusk, about 9 p.m. The rain date is July 12. The town will also stage a patriotic bike parade the day on Saturday, July 4 at 9 a.m.
