2 Armed Robberies In 4 Hours, Same Suspect: Toms River Police
The man, armed with a knife,. robbed a 7-Eleven and then four hours later robbed a Rite Aid, police said.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — Toms River police are searching for a man they say brandished a knife and robbed two Toms River businesses early Thursday morning.
The man seen in the video at the top of this article walked into the 7-Eleven at Route 37 and Oak Ridge Parkway at 1:40 a.m. Thursday,brandished the knife and demanded money. He then ran out the door and away from the store, police said.
At 5:59 a.m., the same man walked into the Rite Aid at Route 70 and Whitesville Road, again brandished the knife, and demanded money before running away, police said.

Anyone who recognizes the man or who has information about the robberies is asked to contact Detective James Carey at 732-349-0150, extension 1292, or at jcarey@trpolice.org.
Toms River police also are asking residents who live in the areas of either incident to check their surveillance cameras to see if they see any suspicious vehicles or the man during the timeframe of the robberies.
