Memorial Day Ceremony Moving Indoors In Toms River
Rain in the forecast for Monday prompted the cancellation of the parade, officials said.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Toms River Memorial Day parade has been canceled and the town will hold its ceremony inside on Monday due to the forecast for showers, the town announced.
The ceremony to honor those who died in military service to the country will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Bud Lomell room at town hall, 33 Washington St.
The ceremony will be followed with a wreath placement at the monument in front of town hall.
