Minor Injuries As Car Flips In Parkway Crash In Toms River: Police
Four vehicles were involved in Sunday's crash on the Garden State Parkway, and eight people were evaluated by EMS, officials said.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — A crash that involved four vehicles on the Garden State Parkway on Sunday morning resulted in only minor injuries, officials said Monday.
The crash that happened at 11:48 a.m. on the northbound Parkway at milepost 81 in Toms River resulted in one car flipping over, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Philip Curry said.
South Toms River EMS, which responded to the crash, said there were four vehicles total involved in the crash, and eight people were evaluated by EMS personnel.

There were no serious injuries, Curry said. The vehicles were cleared and the road fully reopened by 1:15 p.m.
South Toms River EMS officials said Toms River Police EMS, and paramedics from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital responded, along with the Beachwood Volunteer Fire Department.
