Woman Who Went Missing In Toms River Found (Update)

Authorities say the woman, who went missing around 6 p.m., has been found.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — A woman with dementia who went missing Sunday evening has been located, authorities said.

Barbara Estabrook, 76, was last seen between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. leaving her home on Hazelwood Drive.

About 9:15 p.m. officials with East Dover Fire Company, which serves the area where she went missing, said Mrs. Estabrook had been located.

"Mrs. Estabrook was located by members of East Dover Fire Company," Toms River police said in an update. "Thanks to the cooperative efforts of all involved, Mrs. Estabrook is home safe. We'd like to thank the public for sharing this post and being vigilant. Have a safe holiday."
