UPDATE: New Jersey Snowstorm: Speed Restrictions, Crashes, Snow Totals Increase As Threat Expands

UPDATED: More snow fell than expected across the state as a snowstorm hit New Jersey. We have the updated information here.

Looks like we got the worst-case scenario in the Saturday snow storm, and New Jersey was still shoveling out on Sunday.

Here is the updated impact list as of Sunday at 12 noon:

A snowstorm that hit the South has stretched to New Jersey, and it fell pretty steadily across the state as winter storm alerts were issued statewide. As many as 12 inches could fall in South Jersey, along the Shore, until about 8 p.m.

Now the Jersey Shore and South Jersey got as many as 8-12 inches, Central Jersey got up to 10 inches and North Jersey got 5 inches, according to the latest estimates from the National Weather Service.
