OCC Rep Theatre presents Driving Miss Daisy at Grunin Center

Running November 8th - 18th, Times Vary.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Ocean County College Repertory Theatre Company will bring to life its production of Driving Miss Daisy in the Black Box Theatre at the Jay and Linda Grunin Center for the Arts from November 8 through November 18.

Winner of the 1988 Pulitzer Prize and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Play, Driving Miss Daisy is a warm-hearted, humorous, and affecting study of the unlikely relationship between an aging, crotchety white Southern lady and a proud, soft-spoken black man. The New York Times said, “The play is sweet without being mawkish, ameliorative, without being sanctimonious,” while the New York Post called it “a perfectly poised and shaped miniature on the odd-couple theme.”
