The Ocean County College Baseball team looks to improve on a stellar 2014 season where the team compiled 20 wins and made it to the Final Four in Region 19. With several key returning players the Vikings look to capture the Region 19 championship and gain a trip to the junior college World Series in Tyler, Texas. All Region standout pitchers, Christopher Gerstitz and Jordan Silvestri, along with hard throwing Cory Zitko, will carry a majority of the pitching Load and are expected to continue their baseball careers at Division 1 schools.
Sophomores Brandon Bloodgood(3b, Pitcher) and CJ Pulcine(C) are expected to carry the team offensively and continue their great success from last season.
The Vikings have acquired shortstop Thomas Vincent, a TR East standout, along with Brian Pintinics(2B) to solidify the middle infield.

Coach Mcrae, Coach Mike Browne, and Coach Dolan have been working with the team since the beginning of January and have high expectations from this team.
Last season the Vikings defeated nationally ranked Gloucester Community College(#3 in nation) as well as Cumberland County College(#6 in nation) and are expected to be nationally ranked this season.

OCC is no longer a team to overlook. With many talented baseball players looking to continue their baseball careers close to home and with a very talented coaching staff the Vikings are well on the way to being a powerhouse baseball program here in the Northeast.
The Vikings season begins on March 12th against Sussex.
Coach Mcrae stated “come out to the ballfield and see for yourself. This group of guys are very talented and are going to play some great baseball and win a ton of baseball games.”
