Ocean County Library Hosting Mahjongg Tournament

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Calling all mahjongg players: The Friends of the Ocean County Library will be hosting its Fall 2016 Mah Jongg tournament fundraiser next month at the main branch of the library.

The cost to participate in the tournament is $40 per person, which includes a continental breakfast and lunch, and prizes will be awarded.

The tournament is Wednesday, Sept. 28; the deadline to register is Sept. 21 and there is a limit of 80 participants, the group said.

The event will be held in Mancini Hall at the library, 101 Washington St. There will be free, all-day parking available at the Ocean County Parking Garage, accessible from Washington Street and from Hadley Avenue, and a shuttle will be provided between the garage and the library.

Registration forms are available on the library’s website www.theoceancountylibrary.org, as are maps, directions and shuttle details. Check-in for the tournament begins at 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 28 and the tournament will end at 4 p.m.
