Ocean County Mall Hosting Kids Halloween Event Thursday

There will be a costume contest and trick-or-treating at participating stores.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Looking for fun Halloween event for the kids that doesn't require standing outside in freezing temperatures?

The Ocean County Mall invites you to bring your little ones in costume Thursday, Oct. 25, for family activities base on Vampirina and other Disney Junior characters.

The event, called Malloween, will be held at Center Court at the mall from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

It includes trick-or-treating and a costume contest hosted by 100.1 WJRZ. Visit exhibitors, trick-or-treat at participating stores, make a craft, and show off your costumes.

You can have your photo taken by Cherry Hill Programs for $10 each.

The WJRZ Costume Contest will award prizes from participating retailers like Boscov’s, Justice, Build-A-Bear Workshop and JC Penney to three costume contest winners. The Costume Contest begins at 6 p.m.; registration is 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Children can also enjoy face painting and balloon animals by Confections by Cheryl.
