Parkway Ramp Closures Scheduled In Toms River

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Garden State Parkway drivers will not be able to use the exit or entrance ramps overnight at 81 northbound beginning Monday night because of a water main project.

Officials with Veolia, the water company, said the water main project, which continues on Water Street, will force the closure of the ramps on the northbound side from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. from May 8 through Thursday, May 11.

Drivers should avoid the area.
