Parkway Traffic Jams Close Out Memorial Day Weekend
There have been heavy delays through Toms River and Brick much of the afternoon Monday.
Visitors heading home from the Memorial Day weekend are faced with heavy delays on the Garden State Parkway due to volume.
The state Department of Transportation is reporting a 7-mile backup northbound between Toms River and Brick on Monday afternoon as tourists head home from the Shore.
Delays and pockets of volume exist all the way past exit 114 in Middletown, according to the NJDOT website 511nj.org.
