If you went to watch, marched or rode on a float, or if you missed the parade, take a look here.
Marchers and spectators turned out in force for the 77th Toms River Halloween Parade Saturday night.
Spectators lined the street at least three rows deep along the entire route, said parade chairman Carl Weingroff of Toms River Fire Company 1, the parade host. More than 1,100 groups and individuals registered to march -- a figure he said did not include the marching bands from Toms River South and North, Intermediate East and South and from Central Regional.
That also did not include the contingent from the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, which was the grand marshal of this year’s parade, or any of the many Scout groups that marched, Weingroff said.

All told, it took the roughly 3,000 marchers -- led by the Toms River Township Council and Mayor Thomas Kelaher and ending with Santa Claus aboard the Toms River Fire Company 2 truck -- more than two hours to traverse the parade route.
We hope you enjoy the photos.
