TOMS RIVER, NJ — Santa Claus came to town Friday night, along with musicians, parents, and lots of little ones, as Toms River kicked off its 250th birthday celebration with the annual Christmas tree lighting.
Toms River Fire Company 1 had cookies galore, and gave Santa a lift as he swung by via Washington Street.
Mrs. Claus was on hand as well, helping the kiddies take a few moments to share their Christmas wishes with the Big Guy.
