Route 37 Ramp Crash Causes Vehicle Fire In Toms River
There were no injuries as a result of the crash or the fire, police said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — A crash Monday on the off-ramp from the Garden State Parkway onto Route 37 ended with one vehicle catching on fire but no injuries, Toms River police said Tuesday.
The crash happened shortly after 1 p.m. Monday, police said.
Troy Bogin, 35, of Beachwood, who was driving a 2019 Kia Sorrento, had slowed down coming off the ramp to merge into traffic on Route 37 when his vehicle was hit from behind by a 2008 Audi A4 driven by Norma Vasquez, 83, of Barnegat, police said.

The impact caused the Audi to catch fire; it took firefighters about 10 minutes to extinguish the fire, police said.
There were no injuries, police said.
