Cattus Island County Park is not hosting any such event, county officials said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Ocean County officials have issued a scam warning about a flyer circulating on Facebook that claims there is a "Christmas bazaar" being held at Cattus Island County Park.

The flyer, which is advertising for vendors at $80 per space, is a scam, county officials said.

"This event is not happening at Cattus," a post on the county park's Facebook page said. "DO NOT send them a deposit or vendors fees."
