The watch means there is the potential for showers and thunderstorms, with winds gusting to more than 25 mph, according to the forecast from the Mount Holly office.
Heavy rain was falling in the Philadelphia area as of 5:15 p.m., according to social media reports, and radar from the National Weather Service shows a line of storms stretching from Delaware to New York moving east.
