The federally funded organization offers guidance on how to access programs and services.

On Wednesday, May 6th, 2015, families with special needs children are invited to join the Statewide Parent Advocacy Network (SPAN) to get more information on how to obtain the best services for their loved ones.
Organized by Nicole Pratt, Project Coordinator and Senior Parent & Professional Development Trainer, this free workshop will go over resources available in New Jersey for families who will benefit from them. They will provide an overview of government agencies, educational programs, community service providers, and disability specific organizations. Information on how to access these programs and services will also be provided.
A detailed over view of SPAN, the federally funded Parent Training & Information (PTI) center, will also be shared. PTI aims to help families know their rights and best practices to ensure that those with special needs receive the proper services to have a productive life.
