St. Patrick's Parade In Seaside Heights Canceled For 2021
The Ocean County St. Patrick's Day Parade is the latest parade to shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ — The Ocean County St. Patrick's Day Parade has become the latest to be shut down due to the coronavirus, after parade officials announced Monday that the 2021 edition would be canceled.
"The 2021 Ocean County Saint Patrick’s Day Parade (Seaside Hts) is cancelled due to COVID-19 issues and safety concerns," a post on the parade's Facebook page said. "This situation is beyond our control."
The post from parade officials said they are working to plan future events "as soon as possible."

People responding to the post expressed sympathy for the cancellation, saying, "Ugh, too bad, but understandable," and "We all knew it was gonna be when Belmar canceled theirs."
