Submit Questions On Sex Ed Curriculum To Toms River Schools

TOMS RIVER, NJ — It's one of the most-discussed topics about education in years: New Jersey's updated curriculum for comprehensive physical and health education.

The focus has been on the updates regarding sex education, which districts must integrate into their curriculums for the 2022-23 school year.

On Monday, the Toms River Regional School District administration and school board are holding a separate meeting of the board's curriculum committee to discuss the updates.

Parents and guardians who have questions about how the district is implementing the curriculum can ask questions at the meeting, which is set for 6 p.m. in the auditorium at Toms River High School North on Old Freehold Road.

The district is inviting parents and guardians to submit questions ahead of time.
