Hooper Avenue and Fischer Boulevard were expected to reopen shortly, authorities said.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — Hooper Avenue and Fischer Boulevard were expected to reopen around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday following an investigation into what Toms River police have described as a suspicious incident.
Police closed the two roads in the area of the long-closed Boston's restaurant around 12:30 p.m. on Halloween and multiple alerts from police, the Ocean County Sheriff's office and the Toms River Office of Emergency Management urged motorists to stay away.
"Please avoid the area until further notice," police said.
