Dayne turned into an overnight sensation with "Tell It To My Heart," which debuted in October 1987 and reached No. 7 on the Billboard charts. She quickly became a favorite and had several other hits, including "Love Will Lead You Back" and "I'll Always Love You," both of which reached No. 1. She has 17 top 20 singles and has sold more than 75 million albums and singles worldwide, and Dayne's biography says she re-released her greatest hits with two new songs in 2018 to mark the 30th anniversary of "Tell It To Your Heart."
She also released her memoir, "Tell It To My Heart," in February.

"Seaside Heights is excited that Taylor Dayne is bringing the heat to The Classic American Boardwalk for our annual summer kickoff party," Mayor Tony Vaz said in a news release. "We’ve had country music artists, '70s classic rock artists, and '80s rock bands, but this year we have the best of '80s and '90s pop and R&B music with Taylor Dayne gracing our boardwalk stage."
According to Dayne's website, there is a meet-and-greet VIP session before her performance. Tickets for that can be purchased by clicking here.
