The clubs meet monthly at the Ocean County Library's main branch on Washington Street.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — If you're a teenager or know a teenager in Toms River who's interested in cooking, anime (Japanese-style cartoons) or gaming, the main branch of the Ocean County Library may have just what you're looking for.
Hosted by the Young Adult Department of the main branch on Washington Street in downtown Toms River, the special-interest teen groups meet on different dates monthly and are for teens age 12 to 18.
The Teen Anime Club meets every second Tuesday of the month from 4:30 to 6 p.m. It is geared to teens that enjoy Manga (Japanese comic books) and Japanese-style cartoons. The club is also for fans of “J-pop,” also known simply as pops, a musical genre that entered the musical mainstream of Japan in the 1990s, according to library officials.
