Toms River American Legion Picnic Set For Memorial Day Weekend
The American Legion pig roast is open to the public and you can buy tickets in advance.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Toms River American Legion will be hosting a picnic and pig roast Memorial Day weekend.
The picnic is set for Saturday, May 25, at the George P. Vanderveer American Legion Post 129 at 2025 Church Road, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The American Legion and Post 129 both are marking their 100th anniversaries this year.

The picnic and pig roast are open to the public. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door for adults, and $10 for children under age 12. Advance tickets can be purchased at the post's canteen bar. Tickets include the pig roast, hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, draft beer, canned soda and bottled water.
