TOMS RIVER, NJ — If you're wondering what's happening to celebrate the Fourth of July in Toms River and around the area, here's when and where you can expect to see fireworks in the area (weather permitting, of course).
In Toms River, the township doesn't have a fireworks display of its own. But there are plenty of options right nearby, including the annual Fireworks Over the Toms River, hosted by Beachwood on July 4th. There's also fireworks in Seaside Heights and Point Pleasant Beach.
Also worth considering for the Fourth of July weekend are the laser light shows on Saturday, June 30 at Novins Planetarium, which will take on a patriotic flair. An the Garden State Philharmonic will perform a concert outdoors at the Ocean County Library. Bring a chair and enjoy the sounds of the orchestra on Sunday, July 1.

Since the 1960s, this annual concert has elevated July 4th festivities with music. Bring your own chair and sit anywhere for this outdoor concert.
