Toms River Council, Board Of Ed Reorganizing Tonight
The mayor and council members are set to be sworn in for new terms; new faces are joining the school board.

TOMS RIVER, NJ -- Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno is scheduled to be in attendance when the Toms River Township Council holds its 2016 reorganization meeting.
Township Clerk J. Mark Mutter announced the meeting, which is set for 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 4 at Town Hall. Guadagno will administer the oath of office to Mayor Thomas Kelaher and council members George Wittmann, Maurice “Mo” Hill and Brian Kubiel, who all were re-elected in November.
At 6:30 p.m. at Toms River High School North, the Toms River Regional Board of Education will swear in its new members. Christopher Raimann and Joe Nardini, who ousted Joseph Torrone and Ginny Rhine, will join the board, which also will have to choose a new president. Torrone had served as president in the last few years.
