Toms River East Little League World Series Game Moved To Tuesday
Rain prompted postponements Sunday in the Little League World Series, including the game to determine Toms River East's next opponent.

WILLIAMSPORT, PA — Rain in the Williamsport region forced postponements in the Little League World Series on Sunday, and those postponements affected the Toms River East team's schedule.
Toms River East, which was scheduled to play Monday, instead is now scheduled to play at 3 p.m. on Tuesday. Its opponent will be Texas, which lost to Michigan 6-5 on Monday in a rain-delayed game. The game is scheduled to be televised on ESPN.
Toms River East is coming off an 11-4 victory over Connecticut on Saturday, where the team rallied from a 4-3 deficit with an 8-run outbreak in the bottom of the fifth inning, powered by Joey DiMeo's grand slam blast that went well over the center-field fence. (See the video below.)
