Toms River Field Of Dreams Getting Assist At Lacrosse Game
The Toms River North boys lacrosse team is using its Senior Night to raise funds for the complex for kids with special needs.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — The teams may be battling for the title of best lacrosse team in Toms River, but the players will be united in purpose: raising funds for the Toms River Field of Dreams.
The Toms River North boys lacrosse team is turning its Senior Night game against crosstown rival Toms River South into a benefit for the Toms River Field of Dreams, the recreation complex that will serve children with special needs and their families.
The Mariners' game, set for 7 p.m. at Toms River North, includes a suggested donation of $2 at the door, along with a 50/50 raffle. The Toms River Field of Dreams complex is designed to welcome children with special needs and their families, and will include a baseball field, a snack stand, miniature golf and much more.
