Toms River Irish Festival Kicks Off St. Pat's Celebrations

Eat and be merry on Saturday in Downtown Toms River at the town's new Irish Festival.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Downtown Toms River will be wearin' the green on Saturday as the business district celebrates its new Irish Festival.

The festival runs from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Washington Street, which will be closed to traffic during the event.

There will be vendors selling food and Irish-themed items from clothing to jewelry to more.

Restaurants in the downtown have menus themed to the Irish Festival, with corned beef and cabbage offerings, bangers, sliders and more.

The event is sponsored by the Downtown Toms River business improvement district.
