Toms River Man, 23, Dies After Boat Incident In Alabama

A Toms River man was found dead in Alabama underneath a boat in bayou waters yesterday, according to a report from the Alabama marine police.

Scott M. Heilman Jr., 23, of Toms River, was on a 34-foot Sea Ray when he fell or jumped off the boat after walking from the bow. A six-hour search ended just after midnight yesterday when the body was discovered underneath the boat, according to a report from the Alabama marine police.

The incident occurred in Orange Beach, Ala. in the waters of Bayou St. John and is still under investigation according to the Associated Press.
