Toms River Man Held On Charge He Assaulted Police Officer: Police
The incident occurred during a traffic stop in Manchester; police blotter includes other Toms River residents.

MANCHESTER, NJ — A Toms River man was arrested on charges of assaulting a police officer during a motor vehicle stop in Manchester on Aug. 18, one of nearly two dozen arrests by Manchester Township police reported Monday.
Robert J. Frandano, 44, of Toms River, was arrested by Patrolman Christian Nazario on Route 571, according to Manchester Township police.
Frandano is being held at the Ocean County Jail in Toms River in lieu of $30,000 bail on multiple charges related to a motor vehicle stop.

Those charges, according to jail records, include aggravated assault/simple assault on a law enforcement officer; resisting arrest by physical force or violence; obstructing the administration of law; driving on the revoked list; driving without a driver's license; speeding; reckless driving; failure to maintain lamps; failure to use a directional signal and willful nonsupport.
Other arrests of Toms River residents in Manchester are as follows. Those arrested are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

Derrick Panora, 21, of Toms River, on possession of CDS, by Patrolman J. Fastige; released with a summons
AUG. 18
Erica N. Azurak, 31, of Toms River, on a hindering charge, by Patrolman P. Manco. Azurak is being held at the Ocean County Jail on charges of willful nonsupport and being a drunk or drugged driver.

AUG. 19
Steven M. Capone, 61, of Toms River, on a warrant, by Patrolman K. Rickvalsky; released on bail
AUG. 20
Daniel F. Paolillo, 29, of Toms River, on a charge of driving while impaired on Route 70, by Patrolman P. Mabie; released with a summons
