Toms River Memorial Day Parade Canceled
Breaking: Authorities said there will be a Memorial Day service at the American Legion.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — The George P. Vanderveer American Legion Post 129 has canceled Monday's Memorial Day Parade due to the weather, officials announced.
The cancellation was announced in a post on the township's municipal Facebook page about 8 a.m.
Officials said the American Legion Post is inviting the public to a ceremony for Memorial Day that is being held at the post, located at 2025 Church Road.
