Toms River Offers Teacher Convention Week Program
For parents who aren't able to take the week off, the Toms River Youth Services program can keep them entertained.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — Toms River Youth Services is offering a program for children during the November teacher convention week.
The Toms River Youth Services Teacher Convention Week Program is open to Toms River residents who are ages 6 to 12 years old — children must have completed kindergarten — and offers four days of activities, including a trip to SkyZone.
The program runs from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The fee is $175 for the four-day program and includes lunch, trips to SkyZone, the movies and Chuck E Cheese; and a dance party.

The program is closed Nov. 6 for Election Day.
The program can accommodate 30 children, on a first come, first served enrollment basis. Transportation is arranged by the Toms River School System.

Registration begins online September 17th at 8:30am. Visit www.tomsrivertownship.com and under the "Main Menu" click "downloads" and scroll down to “Youth Services” for Registration and Babysitter forms. Please call Youth Services at 732-341-1000, ext. 8436 for more information.
Families must create an account for all Youth Services program at http://register.communitypass.net/tomsriver and choose "Toms River" in the drop down box.
Below are brief instructions on how to access the online system:
1) Log on to http://register.communitypass....
2) Click on “Create an account for your family now”
3) Complete the account information and click “submit”
4) Click on “Register Now” to begin registering for programs
5) View Youth Service programs and click to register
Follow the instructions on the resulting pages to add individuals to your family account and register for all programs available from Toms River.
