Toms River Police Hosting Jingle Bells Run 5K
The annual event raises funds for the Toms River Police Foundation's scholarship program.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — The annual Toms River Police Foundation Jingle Bells Run is accepting applications.
The event, which includes a 5K, a 1-mile fun run, and a kiddie dash, is set for Sunday, Dec. 3 in downtown Toms River.
Register in advance by clicking here or register on-site. Registration and check-in on Sunday begins at 1:30 p.m. in Mancini Hall at the Ocean County Library, 101 Washington St.

The kiddie dash is at 2:45 p.m. and the 1-mile run/walk begins at 3 p.m. The 5K starts at 3:30 p.m.
The proceeds from the race help fund scholarships for local high school students. A spotlight donation will be given to support the New Jersey Run for the Fallen, which honors New Jersey military service members who have died, and supports the Gold Star Families.

A law enforcement scholarship will be awarded in memory of Detective Mark Catalano, Toms River Police Department.
