Toms River Schools Alter Quarterly Exam Schedule

Officials in the Toms River Regional School District have altered the schedule for quarterly exams at the high schools and intermediate schools as a result of the storm closings. The close of the second marking period will now be Monday, Feb. 2.

According to an announcement on the district’s website, the quarterly assessments will now be scheduled as follows:

Thursday, January 29

• High School: Social Studies and Physical Education
• Intermediate: Social Studies

Friday, January 30

• High School: World Language, Career/Technology, and online Financial Literacy
• Intermediate: Language Arts

Monday, February 2

• High School: Science
• Intermediate: Mathematics
