Toms River Seeks Summer Camp Counselors
If you are 18 or older and are looking for a summer job, Toms River Youth Services is seeking camp counselors.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Toms River Youth Services department is seeking summer camp counselors for its 2017 summer camp.
Counselors must be 18 or older to apply. The eight-week camp runs from June 26 through Aug. 18 and is seven hours a day, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
Camp counselors must complete a background check and attend three days of paid orientation before the camp starts.

Each counselor will be assigned a group of children and will have the following duties:
- Plan and organize daily activities for the children
- Supervise daily activities
- Participate in recreational and social activities
- Maintain daily attendance record for the children in their group
- Oversee the safety and well-being of all the children in the camp.
- Assist group members in resolving personal concerns and inform the division manager of all social and behavioral issues
- Keep parents apprised of all social and behavioral concerns about their child.
