Toms River Summer Camp Registration Opens Soon

The eight-week camp opens June 27, officials said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ -- If you're looking for a summer camp option that's close to home, the Toms River Youth Services Department says it has scheduled an exciting and fun-filled summer for the children of Toms River.

Registration opens April 1 for the 2016 Summer Camp, township officials said.

"Days are filled with games, sports, arts and crafts, trips, celebrations, and our annual talent show," officials said.

All registrations and trip sign-ups will take place online, and the camp fee is $385 plus trip costs. Children must be between 6 and 11 years of age at time of registration and residents of Toms River. Proof of age may be required.

The camp is eight weeks long and will begin June 27 and end Aug. 19.

Families must create an account for all Youth Services programs onine (click here) and choose Toms River in the drop down box.

Below are brief instructions on how to access the online system:

  1. Log on to http://register.communitypass.net/tomsriver
  2. Click on “Create an account for your family now”
  3. Complete the account information and click submit
  4. Click on “Register Now” to begin registering for programs
  5. View Youth Service programs and click to register

Follow the instructions on the resulting pages to add individuals to your family account and register for all programs available from Toms River. Depending on the age, grade or gender of the members of your family account, the system will display the programs for which each family member is eligible. For example, a 6-year old will be eligible for Summer Camp Group 1 and Groups 1/2 trips only.
